RE: eConnect error - Unable to obtain next note index importing Fixed Assets

You get this error when you are doing any fixed asset whether econnect or integration manager.  Go in and put in one asset the normal way and then do your import and you will be all set.  I am assuming that you have no assets in the system yet.
