We are running Dynamics GP 2010 SP2 in a Citrix environment. Since upgrading from GP10 SP5, occasionally a user will be running a process (usually posting) and Dynamics GP seems to freeze. There appears to be no reason for the freeze: No SQL locks, no record locks, the Dynamics GP process monitor shows nothing and SQL profiler shows the connected session with no activity. The session is not slow, it appears to be dead - almost like the queue processor in Dynamics GP can no longer "see" the queue. We end up using task manager to end Dynamics GP. Since, the process was so "quiet" (dead) when it was killed, the user is able to log back in and posting resumes and completes. We haven't had data damage yet, but I am concerned. Has anyone else observed this behavior? Any resolution?
